Performance Engineering provided structural engineering services for the new Cross County K-12 School near Stromsburg, Nebraska. The project consisted of a single story building of approximately 105,000 square feet and includes a competition sized gymnasium with an elevated walking track, administration area, kitchen, cafeteria, media center, classrooms and a two-story area above the locker room to accommodate mechanical equipment. The structural design consisted of load bearing precast and masonry walls, and a conventional steel joist and beam roof system.
