Our structural engineering team provided structural design services for the International Quilt Study Center located on the East Campus of the University of Nebraska at Lincoln. This new four story building contains 36,000 square feet and features a Great Hall with a large two story space and a curved grand stairway which is enclosed by a glass curtain wall system. The building will facilitate several spaces including classrooms, meeting rooms, offices and gallery spaces. The galleries have been designed to span two stories and are supported by masonry walls. The fourth level of the building has been designed for mechanical equipment. The project was Certified as LEED Silver.
